Woman Arrested for Burglary and Assault



Pocono Township, PA – A disturbance at a local gas station led to the arrest of a woman on several charges, including burglary and assault, according to Pocono Township Police Department. Nicole Loposky, 37, of Moscow, PA, was apprehended late on the night of May 26th after police responded to an incident at the ONVO gas station on SR715.


Authorities report that at approximately 11:24 PM, a patrol officer heard an alarm and observed a disturbance inside the station. Upon entry, the officer found Loposky engaged in a physical altercation with a male inside the business near the side employee entrance. It was determined that Loposky attempted to break into the station by hitting the front windows with her purse before entering through a side door.


Once inside, Loposky reportedly began assaulting staff members, leading to her arrest on scene. Charges filed against Loposky include first-degree felony burglary, misdemeanor simple assault, misdemeanor false alarm to public safety, misdemeanor disorderly conduct, and summary public drunkenness.


Following the incident, Loposky was transported to Monroe County Correctional Facility after receiving medical attention at Lehigh Valley Pocono Hospital. The case, documented under incident number 2024-00006361, is still under investigation with further details pending.
