Officer Saves the Day in ‘Fowl’ Play Incident
Well, folks, it’s official: the age-old mystery of how the chicken crossed the road has been solved. And the answer? Officer Symeon of the Melbourne Police Department carried her!
In a scene straight out of a sitcom, traffic came to a standstill on Tuesday morning when a rogue chicken—yes, an actual chicken—was spotted dodging cars and causing a bit of a ruffle at a busy intersection.
Calls flooded in to the police department, with reports of “feathers flying” and “a winged criminal at large.” Enter Officer Symeon, who arrived on the scene, assessed the situation, and decided the best course of action was a hands-on approach.
The chicken, meanwhile, seemed completely unfazed by her VIP treatment, likely enjoying the best view of the road she’s ever had. As for Officer Symeon, she’ll go down in local legend as the cop who solved one of life’s great mysteries—and didn’t chicken out under pressure.
Melbourne can sleep a little easier knowing our roads are free from feathered jaywalkers.
