Poinciana, FL. - According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a tragic accident occurred late Thursday afternoon in Poinciana, Florida, resulting in the death of one individual. At approximately 4:59 PM, a 2011 Nissan Xterra traveling southbound on Marigold Avenue near Stepping Stone Boulevard veered off the road for reasons yet to be determined.


According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the vehicle left the roadway and ended up on the grassy shoulder, ultimately colliding with a tree. Despite rapid emergency response, the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.



ISC News & Media were on the scene and spoke with a witness who saw the entire incident unfold. While she wished to remain anonymous and declined to appear on camera, she expressed deep frustration with the lack of safety in the area. She cited speeding drivers, insufficient traffic lights, and poor road conditions as ongoing concerns for local residents.


The crash occurred in Osceola County, and the investigation remains ongoing as authorities work to determine the cause of the fatal accident.


Local officials are advising motorists to avoid the area while the investigation continues and crews clear the scene.

the witness say insufficient traffic lights , we don’t need more traffic lights, we need safer roads and drivers, people here driver like crazy they don’t respect Stop signs, they don’t respect nothing, they tailgating all the time.

We are definitely need more light and cameras in between marigold and koa st all the way down through koa elementary these roads are not safe at all no light even at night time, accident always happen there specially in koa st , the city needs to step up and HOA is garbage, we need some voice because we are raising kids in this neighborhood, we needs more lights pleaseeeeeeee
